essential reading for the field
Well, I had to buy this book for my course, it's among my set texts, but it's the sort of book where you know you're getting value for money. Coming from a hard-up student, that's more of a necessity than a complement. I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone interested in Early Christian History, who wants to get a proper handle on the sources and grapple with them in their own style.

Well what can I say ... needed it for my studies ... and not regretted buying it. Essential material for ripping Christians apart! Unfortunately Royal Mail went and lost it in the post when I posted it back home !
