An excellent book full of lots of idea for common worship5
I was given this book as a gift, and have found it invaluable. As someone who leads intercessions, and leads a prayer group, I found many of the ideas useful. I used No 63 The Map during Advent and No 38 Leaves on the Tree to create a prayer tree at the back of the church during Lent. The themes are very useful as you can use them as a basis for exploring ways of expressing prayer and allowing others to feel part of it. It help to create a visible presence of the importance of prayer and how it can help others.

Indispensable5
This book has really helped the prayer life of my Home Group. We've tried nearly all of the Intercessions for small groups and been really moved by the results of all of them. We've gone from a group not knowing quite how to pray together to a group feeling fairly comfortable about sharing in prayer out loud. I highly recommend it to anyone who is struggling to promote prayer life in a small group.

Bringing Intercession to Life5
As the previous two reviewers I have found this an incredibly useful resource. The ideas presented here really bring intercessions to life with immediate relevency. Various media and methods are recommended to compliment or replace the usual spoken intercessions, involving individuals directly in the process. Any Church or group feeling tired in its prayer life will find that the styles presented will refocus and refresh. We have used many of the techniques in our home group and they have always created relaxed, non-threatening opportunities for participation of individuals in communal prayer.
