About the Author
David Adam is one of the best-loved figures in Celtic spirituality, and author of many successful books including most recently A Desert in the Ocean (Triangle, 2000) and Glimpses of Glory (SPCK, 2000). He is the Vicar of Lindisfarne, which receives thousands of pilgrims each year. Robert Cooper, Priest-in-charge of Sadberge in County Durham, works for the Chaplaincy to the Arts and Recreation, building bridges between the Church and the arts community.

The images are beautiful and the words uplifting and inspiring. I bought this as a gift, but have ordered one for myself now too.

I love this book because not only are the photographs beautiful, but their reationship with the prayers is always inspiring.
Robert Cooper's photographs are a very special way to view Holy Island. Not only are we shown huge, dramatic sunrises, but also tiny, detailed pictures of flowers, stones and so on - truly stunning photography.
This book is a superb way to say 'Thank You' to God for the wonder of creation.
