Packed with good things5
This slim, easy to read volume by Adam is packed with good things. Drawing on his own experiences, the celtic tradition and the story of the prodigal son, he `helps us to recognise that the visible world of matter and the invisible world of spirit are not two worlds but one' (to quote the blurb). Each chapter ends with meditations, readings and prayers, and unlike some books these are an integral part of the book that really add to its value. Through these Adam is always gently challenging his readers to deepen their relationship with God, and not simply to be passive readers. Anyway I think it's excellent and would commend it to anyone who wanted to think about what it means to be `in the world but not of the world' or the 'now and not yet' of the kingdom.

A thought provoking read5
Based on "THe Prodigal Son" story, Living in two Kingdoms is a thought provoking read, helped by the meditation or exercise section at the close of each chapter. The pause, presence, picture, ponder, promise parts of this section can help improve your personal relationship with God, and cause you to look inwardly to your real self.
