Customer Reviews

An excellent book of distilled spiritual wisdom4
I first read this book over 10 years ago. It consists of a series of short chapters about the spiritual journey of life, grouped under various headings . It is not difficult reading, but is thought provoking and helpful for anyone who wants to serve Christ better by understanding themselves and the journey they are on. I used to use chapters of it for school assemblies when I was a school chaplain. It also makes excellent bedtime reading or prayertime reading to help meditation. It may interest readers of this review to know that I am an Anglican. The book, for the most part, transcends all denominational boundaries.

Well Pleased5
A really excellent read that gives you a superb insight into the thinking of one of the country's most respected and influential religious leaders of the past 100 years.
