brilliant but dated5
RECOMMENDED. This is a complete guide to the sites of pagan and magical Britain. It's in the form of 5 major routes which you can travel to see them(obviously roads and motorways have changed to a certain extent since the book was written in 1976 but this isn't a problem as the places are the same)The 5 routes are LONDON,SOUTH ENGLAND,THE WEST:DEVON AND CORNWALL, WALES, and the fifth route consisting of three chapters EAST AND NORTH ENGLAND,SCOTLAND and NORTH WEST ENGLAND. My only criticism is not enough photographs. Packed with information about sites from Stonehenge to relatively obscure ones.Places related to King Arthur,black dogs,ley lines,ghosts and much more. Brilliant.
