Customer Reviews
Excellent, I recomend this book
As an Ambulance Technician, I have found this book most intresting, even with its American slant. It is easy to read, and to understand, and i'm sure that over my career, I will be refering to this book many times in the future.
I would recomend this book to anyone who is about to start there career and training in the Ambulance Service
This is the Paramedical Bible...
Having served as a British Army Medic I came into contact with this book while I was on tour in Iraq. And as my title says it is simply the Paramedical Bible. While you have to filter out the parts that are more relevant to our American counter parts, it remains a sound manual for virtually all circumstances. For any forces medics reading this review, this is an indispencible tool for advancing your career, both within the forces and in the outside world. When you combine this with the Manual for Combat Medical Technicians and the BATLS & BARTS manuals. You are coverd for any trauma situation I can think of, both on deployment abroad and domestically in the UK...
Excelent text book for reading & reference
I bought the book as a suggest reading for the St John Ambulance - Ambulance training. It is a very readable book as well as useful as a reference book. It is well thought out in terms of presentation and order of material and diagrams.
