Don't look too hard!
I bought this book for two little girls and was well impressed when it arrived. You could spend hours just spotting different objects in the pictures, however it loses a star because there is a large and scary skeleton in the first spread, the girls haven't found it yet and i'm going to have to camouflage it with a permanent marker, one, because i don't want them to have nightmares and two, because it'll open a whole can of worms with questions like "whose skeleton is that?" and "where are they now?"

Back on the shelf
This book was disappointing. Too many items to find in each picture meant that there was no sense of achievement before wanting to move on to the next page. Many of the objects were American so many British children would not recognise them e.g. dollar bill, dried maple seed, part of a Hershey bar etc. but there are plenty others that they would. The book is a little too difficult for young children but would possibly be suited best to 6 to 8 year olds when looking at with an adult.
