Hereford - The road to Fownhope
As with all O/S Landranger Maps, this one is excellent. I'm planing a trip to Fownhope and Mordiford to locate my long lost ancestors - a long time dead. It's part of my Family Tree search which is done through 'Ancestry'. Maps like this are valuable when traveling to distant parts of the country. My grandfather lived at 'Common Hill', now I know where that is before I venture to Fownhope. The Landranger maps take you right into the area, you know where the church is and more important - the pub. So after a trip around the cemetery and a look at the two World Wars Roll of Honours it will be time for a pint, in the same pub that my Grandfather must have drank in over a hundred years ago.
