Amazon bargain of the year!
This latest series of maps from Ordnance Survey come as a double sided sheet that is laminated. This has many advantages, paticularly if you are an all weather walker. You can also write notes or mark your route on it,then wipe it clear, when you have finished that route and want to plan your next one. I find that they don't fold away as easy as the none laminated maps,as they trap air, when you fold them back up(you just have to squash them a bit).I think this will ease off with a bit more use.

Quality map
These maps are really useful when walking. I took this map on a Duke of Edinburgh expedition in the Peak District and it didn't stop raining. The other two maps we took fell apart, even in "waterproof" cases, but this map was brilliant and shows no signs of wear and tear.
