Average customer review:Product Description
Nursing is now a research-based profession. This means that all students need to: * become acquainted with the principles, mechanics and terminology of nursing research * understand why research is important, and how it is relevant to a 'practical' discipline such as nursing * learn how to evaluate other people's research and how to make use of research findings in everyday practice. This comprehensive introduction to the topic addresses these needs head-on. Particular strengths are the clear and accessible style and the use of genuine research examples (from all specialities within nursing) to illustrate the points being made.

Nursing Research Principles Process and Issues
After trying to find a book which would help with a difficult year 2 nursing exam I found everything I needed to know and more. The text is easy to read but still remains in sufficient depth to gain a good grounding for research. I will be using it to work along side my degree in year 3. Invaluable to evidence based care with every aspect of research covered in a way to enjoy and learn more. Brilliant!!!
Nursing Research: Principles, Process and issues
As the nurisng profession progresses , the use of research is a vital aspect to provide up to date practice, that is both efficient and safe to patients. The problem I found during my training and post qualification was making sense of the variety of research that is available to the nrsing profession. I felt that this book is an excellent guide for the use and evaluation of research. This particular Author taught at the university that I trained with therfore any examples used were related to the health profession.
Without this book I feel that I would never have been able to understand and put research into practice. It was excellent!
