About the Author
CAROL COSGROVE-SACKS is Director of the Trade Division, United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and a Professor at the College of Europe, Bruges. Before joining the United Nations, Dr Cosgrove-Sacks was an international business consultant, advising mainly on access to the European market and sources of international and investment. She is the author and editor of many books including The EU and Developing Countries: The Challenges of Globalization. - CARLA SANTOS works with Dr Cosgrove-Sacks at the College of Europe, Bruges, as an academic course assistant.
