What everyone should know about retailing5
Although essentially an academic text this is in reality a book for everyone. Retailing is at the centre of most peoples lives, and for those in business failure to comprehend its principles and application lead to disaster. This book should be read by every start up, and should be used by established firms to audit their own retail effectiveness. For the rest of us consumers it will entertain, and enrich, and when converstaion flags at dinner parties will give a competitive advantage. Find out how those multiples exploit us. Find about about cross docking. As well as the principles it is full of anecdote to amuse and entertain. As a nation of shop keepers this should be on everyone's bookshelf.
