Still a useful text book
I bought this History text book because I wanted background information on life in 17th and early 18th century England, with particular reference to yeoman farmers. Although it was published in 1987, it's still useful for those interested in social history and for those researching their family trees.
It doesn't contain any illustrations but the text is lucid and accessible.
