Customer Reviews
The Cornish Girl is a great piece of literature
The Cornish Girl is an absolutely fabulous book, although a little slow at the first, it soon gets into its stride and is a wonderful romantic book with the English civil war as a back drop. The love story is bitter sweet and will have you sobbing by the end of the book. I have read this book atleast three times and have loved everything about it. It is fantastic with truly believable characters and a great storyline
The Perfect Historical Novel.
I've got two questions - why is this book out of print and why doesn't Joanna Hines write some more historical novels? This is one of my favourite books, it's not overtly romantic and the characters are tangible and real. I've read it twice now and suspect that it will get read again - it's perfect. Don't waste your talents Joanna, write some more!
Engrossing, romantic historical
I couldn't put this book down - it transported me into the seventeenth century. Brilliant.
