Product Description

Raped and left pregnant by her drunken father, Anna Bradley knows she must abandon her baby and make a new life if her son is to have a future. As luck would have it, she is befriended by Maggie Fellen, and under her gruff but tender care, Anna builds up a successful business, and even finds a measure of happiness with Edward Royce. The happiness does not last: tragedy - and a cruel man - rob her of both husband and livelihood and once more she must rebuild her fortune. But Anna can never forget her firstborn; and when Fate leads her back to Wednesbury, it is to a confrontation that could break - or mend - her heart.

Gripping and Dramatic5
Calling Saga Fans everywhere! This is one book which you have to read. Meg Hutchinson has penned a gripping saga that's engrossingly gripping and unputdownable and that is bursting at its seams with passion, drama and emotion. The saga opens in Wednesbury, where Jos Bradly having consumed a lot of alcohol after the village decided that he had was a rapist and a murderer, rapes Anna Bradly in a midst of drunken anger. Anna produces a child and soon she and her child are being verbally abused. Deciding that there is nothing left in Wednesbury, she leaves for Coseley where with the help of Maggie Fellen she sets up a successful business after her husband is killed brutally. However, though she cannot enjoy her new-found success for there is one man who wants to destroy her. However though there are other problems which Anna must face. Meg Hutchinson has managed to write a saga that tugs at the heartstings with an ending so poignant that it will leave you in tears.
