Buy John Grisham
I bought this book, knowing what I wanted was a good, solid thriller with legal themes. I LOVE John Grisham. His pacing, plot and characters are just so gripping and I've yet to find another writer with the same skill of weaving in legal details with a good story. This, on the other hand is derivative NONSENSE. It reads like Rumpole of the bailey on mogadoms. Seriously.....if you like good legal thrillers, type in JOHN GRISHAM in the little box at the top of this page and let Amazon do the rest.

I WISH I COULD GIVE 6 STARS
As a bit of a crime/thriller addict, I can't wait to find a new writer to get hooked on. Dexter Dias is that writer. Above the Law is compulsive and impossible to stop reading.

it's a rare thriller that is nail-bitingly exciting and also emotionally charged. Dexter Dias pulls this wondrous balance off in Above the Law. A fantastic read, which i very highly recommend.
