Bull Cent Child Book
A friendly, round-headed cast... introduce the tasty possibilities of fresh fruit without ever dropping the vaguest hint of (shh!) nutrition

Review
The straightforward text is personalised with simple dialogue that should make reading aloud fun, and Bartlett's sturdy, unbordered double-page spread paintings, in a style so unaffected that it resembles children's own artwork, are a rainbow of fruit colors - strawberry, red, lemon, yellow, lime green, and more. Great for lap sharing or use with small groups. (Booklist (1998) )

A friendly, round-headed cast with pin-dot blue eyes and broad smilles introduce the tasty possibilities of fresh fruit withour ever dropping the vaguest hint of (shh!) nutrition, and the luscious, sunshiny palette of Bartlett's acrylic paintings will set the taste buds tingling. How about this juicy selection just before snack time? (Bull Cent Child Book (1998) )

fab colourful book 5
This is a wonderful book, my own children love it and my year 2 class adored it. We used it during a topic on food. The previous week we had read Oliver's vegetables. The illustrations are bright and lively and the text perfect for young children to engage with.
