A shallow baptism
As a non-Anglican I found this book (whose author is Anglican to the core) helpful in terms of gaining greater insight into why the practice of wetting the heads of babies might possibly lay a claim to use the word 'baptism'. Green competently covers most of the bases of baptism's biblical roots but ultimately fails to make a case that would sway anyone with a pre-existing conviction about the necessity of believer's baptism.
