Informative and comprehensible
This book has been designed for students of modern languages and therefore is presented in a straightforward manner which allows the reader to understand and empathise with Latin American cultutre, identity and history. The book is presented in an easy to folow format, mainly chronological with facts, figures and explanations of words untranslatable into English no student of Spanish and Latin American Language, History and Literature should be without this book. Writing the impossible - 200 years of history, 8 countries, 800,000 words. Fowler has achieved the impossible indeed.
