Concise summaries and comprehensive principles
THESE ARE BETTER THAN NUTSHELLS!
The summaries are clear, concise and facilitate the understanding of the fundamental principles. They are followed by a more comprehensive examination of the key principles, thankfully avoiding any unnecessary prose. As a student who was an unswerving fan of Nutshells,I have to tell anyone who will listen that these series of books are far better. I honestly only found them because no Tort Nutshells were available - but I am very grateful that I did.
Good for quick revision
I find Tort the most hardest topic in AS/A Level Law, however when I need a quick summary the Tort Key Facts book is a good book for a quick revision and is very easy to read.
If you are doing Law as a suject and just want something for a quick summary this is the book for you. If you want books that gives you a full helpful insight in Law then buy other books by Jacqueline Martin - a very good Law author expert.
Loads of cases not enough facts
This is a pretty useful books for A-Level or even degree tort law. It has loads of cases on i think all tort subjects you will be examined on. So the good thing is that it has loads of cases. The bad thing is that this book only says the case name. This can be very annoying as it is difficult to accurately apply a case to a problem question without knowing the facts. This led me to reading through Elliot & Quinn (a must for any A-level law student) and the internet searching for what the cases were about. I know this book is only a key facts book and if the cases were all explained in detail then the book would be 3 times thicker, but a sentence about each case would be a good use of paper.
