Customer Reviews
As comprehensive an overview of Beckett as you can get
The adage normally attached to Quantum Physics that "if you reckon you understand it then you really don't understand it at all" is justifiably true of Beckett's work. Hence, why many deem it irrelevant to read (and write?) work upon work dissecting and analysing his writings. Read this. It's all you'll ever need. Beyond seeing the works performed, of course.
The great man himself evidently shied away from any in depth discussion of his work, much preferreing to chat about cricket over a pint down the pub. That's my kind of literary genius!
(And I read that information in this book.)
Recommended.
