About the Author
Ian Marcousé spent 6 years in advertising before switching into teaching. For many years he ran parallel careers as teacher and marketing consultant. Then a successful textbook led to an involvement with the Cambridge exam board, from which he became Chief Examiner for AEB (now AQA) Business Studies A Level. In 1993 Ian came up with the idea of an alphabetical textbook, from which the A-Z Handbook Series developed. This series from Hodder & Stoughton Educational has become a huge success, spawning overseas versions in America and Russia. In 1999 Ian's latest book Business Studies immediately became an educational bestseller, featuring in Management Today's Top Ten Business sellers. Buy this if your very rich and can part with the money
This guide is pretty useless. I had to do the AQA project and it only outlined the assessment objectives I already got from my teacher. It doesnt help you out in a sense of letting you know what you have to do. Its just a collection of irrelavant material. It may help you if you do another project, but didnt help me out at all. The only good thing about it is the assessment objectives that are clearly outlined, but is it worth paying for them? Download the pdf. from your exam board!

The Life Saviour
The A-Z Business Studies Handbook is a very useful book. It gave me step by step instruction has to how to achieve an excellent grade A project. I recommend that any student doing a business studies project should make this book their first choice. The language is very simple and easy to understand and the project in practice area gives you examples of how it's done.

Very Average
I used this book during my A Levels last year. It was a help to my coursework but only to a certain level. Even though I acheived an A for my coursework i found the book un reasuring that i was doing the right thing. In my opinoion the book made out that the coursework had to be world class when in reality it didn;t. The Business Studies Text book is fantastic, enjoyable to read and excellent to acheieve success in Business Studies A Level. I got an A for Business Studies so i am chuffed at it!!!
