Average customer review:Product Description
As part of the A-level specifications the A2 examinations must allocate 40 per cent of the marks to questions which cover elements from the whole two-year course. This book, written by a principal examiner, should help pupils and teachers prepare for the A-level Biology synoptic exam. It provides advice on how to learn effectively, describes methods to improve and maintain links between different subject areas, and includes example questions together with analysis of the answers. There is also a look at the structure of the questions and the points being addressed.

Customer Reviews
The Synoptic Bit that most books miss out!
As a biology tutor, I used this book with my students last summer. It explains exactly whast "Synoptic Assessment" means! All of my students thought it was really useful as it had loads of practice questions with model answers. It deals well with the data handling synoptic part of the A2 exam as well as essay writing. It certainly fills in all the gaps that many schools and textbooks miss out!
