A Criminal Law Students Bible!5
For all confused law students like me simple yet thorough law books are impossible to find, if not extinct. Yet Diana's book seems to neaten all the rough edges in law and put it into plain and intelligible language. The chapters are clearly defined and definitions distinctly set out in a logical form which is easily followed. Supported by news paper articles and comments which develope further thinking.
Particularly helpful are the "important points" which are set out at the end of each subject which make excellent revision material. The mens rea & actus reus diagram and the homicide diagram make easy reference sources for problem questions.
After endlessly reading many books on criminal law I have finally found an excellent book which has now become my bible. I feel a duty to spread the good word to those students like me struggling along that there is no need to struggle anymore, read the good law book of the lord and your prayers shall be answered in your exams!!

Excellent book!!!5
Diana's book is a god send and was instrumental in reviewing for my final exam. Each chapter not only covers the relevant statutes and case law with explanations but includes useful information from various articles and textbook authors commonly assigned by lecturers/professors. The end of chapter key points were useful as a revision and memory aid also. Nutshells and other similar books do not compare to it. Strongly recommended.

An asset to all students5
I'm a student of A2 Law, and regularly use this book to assist me with assignments, research and revision. It covers the main points of all relevant cases to the syllabus, and provides a clear explanation of the legal implications covered. This all-round simple book has a very useful index and subheadings, which makes it easy to find what you are looking for.

It is very clear, concise, easy to use, and student-friendly. It simplifies all legal concepts nicely, and at the same time, allows me to perceive a good understanding of everything that's required. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone - even if you just have a general interest in law.

I have certainely learned a lot from it, and although it's shorter than most law textbooks, it covers everything in sufficient detail and is enough to act as a stand-alone book.

Well recommended - well done Diana Roe :)
