Product Description

As the nazi madness swept across Europe, a quiet watchmaker’s family in Holland risked everything for the sake of others, and for the love of Christ. Despite the danger and threat of discovery, they courageously offered shelter to persecuted Jews. Then a trap brought about the family’s arrest. Could God’s love shine through, even in Ravensbruck?

An inspiring true story.5

Corrie Ten Boom is a 50 something spinster from a strong Christian family that lived in Holland during the second world war. The faith of the whole family is tested as they find themselves caught up in the adventure of the Dutch underground.

This is a book that I would recommend to anyone. It is a really easy read and an inspiring book that I was unable to put down.

Inspiring Story of Faith and Love5
This amazing book is very well-written and hard to put down from the first page. The author's account of her experiences during World War II is
honest and heart-wrenching, but is also very inspiring and uplifting through her and her sister's faith in God and love for others which transformed many lives both in the terrible Nazi concentration camps and after the war. Even in that dark time there was light.

The first half of the book deals with her life before the war from childhood and is fascinating as well. Her eccentric, warm, loving family - her first love - her involvement in helping others even as the war loomed nearer... All her experiences were preparing her for her later imprisonment and ministry.

A must read!

Watch the movie, read the book, visit the shop, read the book again5
The film is good but fails to do justice to the book so read this after watching the movie. And then, for a total experience, go to Haarlem and see the shop for yourself. It is utterly unspoilt and no attempt has been made to commercialise it but you can visit the rooms (put Ten Boom Haarlem in Google to find it.) And stand in the stairwell looking towards the Hiding Place and marvel at how anyone could have missed the fact that the wall in Corrie's room touches the window but the back wall of the house is some 3 feet beyond the window. And then read the book again.
