Shirley Clarke is a foremost consultant in assessment and the primary curriculum, an Associate at the Institute of Education, University of London, and author of the hugely popular Targeting Assessment in the Primary Classroom (1998) and Unlocking Formative Assessment (2001). A former primary teacher and advisory teacher, she is a popular speaker who is much in demand, in the UK and internationally.
