FROM DAY ONE . . . TO THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR EXAMS
“At long last a [handbook] with meanings that were accessible and useful. I think a good book on the shelf is invaluable to students in social sciences, ploughing through so much new jargon.” J Wills, Brunel Technical College (about the 1st edition)
The A-Z Handbook explains all the key terms in Advanced Level Sociology. Each entry begins with a clear definition and is followed by an explanation and/or worked examples. The more important the term, the more detailed the entry. The A-Z format makes it exceptionally easy to use.

It is useful from the first day of studying advanced Sociology right through to the night before your exams. The Handbook is invaluable for students of all AS and A2 Level courses and is also a useful resource for students of undergraduate and vocational courses.
For new students – Sociology terms and concepts are explained clearly

Customer Reviews
Invaluable
this is one of the first books i bought whilst studying an access course at college a couple of years back - and it has been of tremendous help throughout my university year. this is one book i would not be without - it makes light work of long sociological words.
it is not like a dictionary more of a bible for any kind of social work, or sociology work - it is my one saviour sometimes when i am writing uni essays.
highly recommended
