Malcolm is a Big-hearted Monster - he loves to give presents to anyone and everyone. But for the first time ever, there isn’t a single present left to give.
Being a Big-hearted Monster, Malcolm sets off to find new presents for his friends. But when he stumbles across a confusing collection of objects in the Treasure Chest and decides to give them as gifts, pandemonium ensues on the (not so) Scary Monster Streets.
Some creatures are cute, some revel in being revolting - but all of them are instantly (not so) Scary!

Customer Reviews
Top Pop-up delights for little monsters everywhere!
I bought the Marvellous Monster Muddle for my 4 year old child for
his birthday and he thoroughly enjoyed it .I've been reading the story to him most evenings and he hasn't lost interest yet. The characters are wonderfully illustrated and it's a joy to see such marvellous pop up paper engineering in a wonderfully creative looking children's book.
Monsters have always proved popular with children everywhere and
I would strongly recommend buying this book for any little monsters who love picture picture books.
I will certainly buy the other Not So Scary books for my child.
Great Stuff
My girlfriend collects the not so scary monsters range including the books and she was looking foward to getting this one to add to her collection. The Love monster is a lovely little character and i defy anyone not to find this book charming although short.
love it, No.
I bought this book hoping that it would give my children information of how to be loving. The main character Otto is likable enough ... but the book is very small/short and the content is not well focused. Its too complicated for little ones and not interesting for slightly older ones. The content is abstract ... talks about being soft-centred ... and doesn't give kids solid ways to understand it in their world. Its much more for girls as it is pretty enough ...
