Editorial Reviews

Review

"The content of the book is well organised. The language pitch used speaks directly to the student, with a friendly tone running throughout the book. It is also informative and reassuring for the less confident."

Customer Reviews

Useful at a higher level4
I have read Ms Jubb's previous publication "French Grammar in Context" and found it to be very useful. Naturally, when I saw that she was the author of this book, I picked it up right away.

This book is a 30 day revision guide for those studying French at a higher level. It is very well laid out, easy to use and helps you to improve in 3 main areas: style, vocabulary and grammar. The exercises, which are numerous, reinforce what you have learned and are often used to point out areas in which students make mistakes.

I have just one criticism of this book: the chapter on past participle agreements. This section is very complex, hard to grasp and uses far too much jargon. For this section, I recommend her previous publication. Otherwise, a very useful and concise book!
