A good buy
Why oh why did I not pay attention during maths at school! Well, they were right...eventually, your past does catch up for you. If, like me, you need to brush up on your maths then I can most definately recommend this book and its bigger brother A Level Mathematics. Unfortunately, there are some mistakes with the answers at the back of the book. Furthermore, not too many examples are given prior to the many exercises provided however its not all bad as it does require you to apply yourself more thoroughly to the subject. Finally, the errors would not be so bad had Collins produced a list of errata however, should such a document exist, it is certainly not easy to find.

Useful but could be better
I found the book covered much of the AS syllabus with many Exercises. A few of the answers at the back were incorrect on my first edition, I don't know whether they were corrected on the reprint. One or two topics were missing e.g. Venn diagrams. Overall worth 3 stars.
