A must for all lovers of the Poldark series of books or on TV
Poldark's Cornwall is a must for all lovers of the Poldark Series of books by Winston Graham, or followers of the two TV series.
The first part of the book is partly autobiographical explaining Winston Graham's connections with Cornwall, and providing a really evocative presentation of the wonderful Cornwall county abundantly illustrated with beautiful and well-selected photographs.
Many of these are linked with areas used as settings in the books and for the TV series, and this is especially so in the later part of the book, where the author explains how certain places or names in Cornwall were used in his books and also how the filming for the TV series was undertaken.
This provides the reader with a fascinating account and background to these books and films and leaves the reader wanting to visit Cornwall to see more for themselves at firsthand.
An excellent book in all respects.
