America: Brief: A Narrative History
A well researched and compiled text, covering periods of American History clearly and concisely, and well illustrated. However, because of it's ambitious scope, many areas receive scant coverage. Works of this kind should encourage one to read further, but with sometimes too little to go on frustration may result. Nonetheless it remains a fine and elegant work, beautifully presented.
