Average customer review:Product Description
This latest edition reflects the general trends in the development of family law, in particular the increasing emphasis upon the parent-child relationship and the diminishing significance of marriage. Therefore substantial changes have been made both to the overall structure and to the content. For example, the chapters on Divorce and Family Protection have been entirely re-written in the light of the Family Law Act 1996.

Customer Reviews
Extremely useful
I have been very pleased with Bromley's Family Law. I have found the information very clear and well organised. The topics are covered with an appropriate amount of detail - enough to form the basis of an essay, but no so much as to make it boring. Even those topics I was not that interested in were readable.
The relevance of caselaw to each topic was also well covered, as was the relevant legislation.
I would recommend this book to students of family law, as a reasonably detailed, but also interesting reference book.
