About the Author
Peter Hartley is Professor of Communication at Sheffield Hallam University. He has published widely and was part of the team that developed the first British degree in communication studies.

Clive G. Bruckmann has held positions in industry and research, and until his retirement was Head of the Communication Studies Division at the University of Witwatersrand. He is currently an examiner in business communication.
