Customer Reviews
Summarises over 100 years of history well
The book is a must for any student who is studying European history in this period. Its chapters have good chronology tables at the end if you need to know the date of an event, and the chapters are well illustrated with relevant pictures/posters, as well as the inclusion of various written sources to give impetus to what is being related.
The only real drawback is its briefness in relating many major events and can therefore only really be seen as a book that gives good insight into a subject that has to be studided further.
