About the Author

Tim Jackson is a Principal Lecturer at The London College of Fashion specialising in fashion marketing and luxury. He has produced a number of publications relating to these topics including Mastering Fashion Buying and Merchandising Management. Following a career in the fashion industry, he regularly commentates on fashion business issues across various broadcast media.

David Shaw currently works as both a freelance buying and marketing consultant and as an academic at The London College of Fashion, having worked for 20 years in the fashion industry for companies such as Top Shop, Dorothy Perkins, Principles, Burtons, Debenhams, Dolcis and Bertie. He is the co-author of Mastering Fashion Buying and Merchandising Management.

Dr Tony Hines is Research Co-ordinator for the Marketing Group at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School with research interests in Retail Strategies.
