Customer Reviews

Pina and the cacophony of creativity4
Superb study of the ideas and praxis behind the work of Bausch, the terrors of inspiration and her fundamental drive to recognise the chaos of creativity of the individual. If repetition creates meaning, then the unrelenting nature of her study of the individual and the cacophony of a single movement created an overwhelming sense of meaning against intense scenography, dreams and nightmares. Less is never more with Bausch. The text also broadly traces her inspirations and influences.
