"Mark provides a great "one-stop-shopping" book for those seeking supplemental or reference materials to support understanding of music education practices and topics. However, reading the book in its entirety will give the reader the pleasure of a deeper understanding of the continuing process of the development of music education to its highest degree in our society and schools. This is a "must have" book!."
