Editorial Reviews
Synopsis
Nutcases are a revision aid that approach case law in the acclaimed Nutshell style. They present the basic facts and key principles of the important cases in each area of law, in clear, straightforward language. Constitutional and Administrative Law has been updated to include some of the more recent key cases including R (Daly) v Secretary of State for the Home Department 2001; R v Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Ex parte Bancourt 2000 and R (Pretty) v DPP 2001. These and other cases are summarised in clear language with a commentary that considers their effect on the law.
Customer Reviews
No substitute for "proper" research but . . .
OK, so we should all read the full case reports, but sometimes you just don't have the time and that's where this little book shines. I've (shamefully) blagged my way throught the odd class with its help, but I think the real strength is when writing essays - I use the nutcases to figure which cases I need to read further.
