Highly Informative
An extremely well written book; both novices and more experienced readers will find it easy to read and informative. The authors give a well balanced, well researched insight into the many aspects involved in investigating crime. There is no other book like this; very highly recommended for anyone interested in true crime.
An excellent read, but definitely not for the squeamish
I have always been interested in crime and forensic detection, and find today's technology in this field absolutely amazing.
This book gives detailed accounts of how the CSI trainees learn their trade and how they have to overcome extremely unpleasant sights and smells (!) in the course of their work.
It is a fascinating account but does have descriptions of dead bodies and decomposition (hence the book's title) and is therefore not for the faint-hearted.
An excellent read for those interested in forensic detection.
Not what I thought it would be but worth a reading
This book turned out to be totally different that what I thought it would be. It's all about a Forensic Academy that exists in the U.S. to train police officers in Forensics and guides you through their typical training sessions. I only liked it in the end cause it gave me some ideas for a project I was working on.
