Straight to the pont and easy for you to understand
I have been working for ages trying to find out what is "wrong" with my 5 year old as school where the teacher says she struggles to get him to do the work at school and I have to work extra hard to get him to do his school reading.
I read many books on the subject & also surfed the internet and this is the best book by far. The other books offer you hundred of pages to read and in the end you are non the wiser. This books explains in simple short language what ADD, ADHD.. Inattentiveness, hyperactivity, impulsiveness. What are they? What are the possible causes, medication, treatment @ home & school, what is life like for a child with it, glossery & further reading & organisations.
Great!!! now I know my son has attention issues and what to do about hit at home & at school.
As a parent you have got the time to hunt around working out what is happening to your child and also what is best to do for them. No I know & wish I found this book first instead of wasting loads of time on the other avenues.
