Product Description

A study of Germany between 1919 and 1945 for AS and A Level History students. It is designed to fulfil the AS and A Level specifications in place from September 2000. The two AS sections deal with narrative and explanation of the topic. There are extra notes, biography boxes and definitions in the margin, and summary boxes to help students assimilate the information. The A2 section reflects the different demands of the higher level examination by concentrating on analysis and historians' interpretations of the material covered in the AS sections. There are practice questions and hints and tips on what makes a good answer.

AS and A Level Germany and even GCSE Help5
This book is fantastic, it gives a clear, cut and consise overview of the German History period from 1919 - 1945.
It supports AQA, OCR and Edexcel Exam boards AS/A Level and gives the necessary jump from GCSE to AS to A Level.

The Book Covers -
Weimar Germany 1919-29
The Rise of the Nazi Party
Nazi Germany 1933-1945
Weimar and Nazi Germany

This book is what text books aimed at there intended audience should be like, once again Hinemann have got it right again.

It even provides some further reading for GCSE students, but GCSE students should primarly stick to there exam board accredited exam books, only to use this for further reading.

Lively discussion of this key period of German history.5
Absolute genius from the first page to the last. Thank God I read this- my grade B at A-level would never have been possible without it. Easy to use and very helpful hints- the practice questions really prepare you for exams. Thank you Collier and Pedley.

A work of History to help all5
This book has been written in a manner which is easy to understand and informative. the advice on essay skills and how to apporach history is fantatsic, and i would recommend this book to all those who wish to succeed at their study of A-Level History. the subject matter is well explained,a nd i would be surprised if anyone would say that this book was unhelpful. Buy it, and you will realise it was worth it.
