Product Description

A2 Law for AQA follows the same format as the AS book but in the depth required for A2. It is tailored to the specification and covers all the AQA options for A2. It builds on what students learnt at AS to ensure they reach the levels expected of them in their A2 exams. The book is exam-focused to help students understand just what they need to know for their exams. Exam questions and revision points are provided at the end of each unit, so students can be confident they're fully prepared for their exams.

a life-saver5
This book is just fantastic, you can use it to follow your course, help you with assignments and of course to revise from. Its consise, to the point and highlights key factors that get you the extra marks. The author has cleverly given you explaination to words throughout the book rather than a glossary, which I believe is much more efficient and easier to use. The activities included are quick but help you remember the important facts and legal cases are explained simply but with enough detail to use effectivly in your exams. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent Study Aid4
i found the AS version very helpful, and so i had very high expectations for this text book. whether you have just started your A2 course, or whether you are close to sitting exams, this is very helpful with learning and revision: self assesment questions, concise digrams etc. i found it worth every penny. the only problem, is the lack of information about possible reform. for AQA students, that is a very important part of the syllabus, and i would strongly recommend using this text book alongside your class notes.

Helpful, but not brilliant.3
I bought three revision guides for my various subjects a month before my exams. Some helped me out a great deal but others were not so good.
This book is okay. It has the main points and summarises things nicely, but unfortunately it is too brief to be of real use. It does not include enough actual cases for legal points, and in some the actual obiter is misinterpreted - probably in aid of simplicity.
When defences such as intoxication are covered in less than one page you know something's awry. In my opinion this book should be used only to supplement your notes, by no means to replace them. Though I found my notes to be far my helpful and exhaustive than this book. Get if you're desperate. Otherwise get that old Law folder out.
