Good practical ideas for reinforcing learning objectives.
The book is useful for new ideas in teaching the key objectives in the numeracy strategy. The lessons are mostly practical and hugely enjoyable and motivating for the children. The book is easy to use as the learning objectives are given and the lesson is split into a mental, main activity and suggested plenary. Methods of differentiation are also provided. I would recommend this book as an extremely useful resource for teaching year two maths.
