framework book saves time!5
I bought this book hoping to save a bit of time and gain some understanding of the new framework, having been on maternity leave and therefore missing the courses. It exceeded my expectations, the format is clear and user friendly, the resources suggested include old favourites and new books, but all readily and cheaply available and the acompanying CD ROM meant most of my planning could just be cut and pasted and then changes for my own class added. The CD also has whiteboard clips and text examples.
I would thoroughly recomend it to any teacher trying to get their head around the new framework.

Poor. If you're looking for a time-saver, avoid this one!1
Huge waste of money. Science book in the same series is fantastic. This sadly was a great let down. No differentiation, and although some good ideas, meant a lot of time needed to be used with this book to adapt it to suit the needs of a working classroom. You'd be better of thinking of the ideas from scratch.

Disapointing2
I was looking for a solid resource for the new framework and have come badly unstuck using this! Not all the suggested texts are listed in the resources section you find out when you are part way through a phase. The photocopiable resources dont match up properly with the activities for Olivers Vegetables and the IT resource for it is poor. However this must be a really popular teachers book as when trying to buy the recommended texts many are sold out!
