Good investment4
Well as many teachers are aware, the new frameworks are pretty hard to get your head around as they are less structured than before. I found this a great resource once I got to grips with it and have recommended it to the year 1 and 3 teachers in my school. It gives you a better vision of where you are going with your planning, and I can see what I am heading towards clearly. Buy it!

A really helpful resource4
My job-share partner bought the Year 3 book and it has been invaluable. Not only are there teaching notes and photocopiables, but the CDRom has it all electronically, including the texts so that you can display them on your IWB. It comes in a programme that allows you to conceal words or sections of text, annotate, etc. It has really brought literacy resourcing into the whiteboard era. I highly recommend you invest in the book, as I am now I am moving jobs and therefore ages groups!
