Product Description

Readers might already know that Julius Caesar is horribly famous for: • conquering loads of countries • going out with Queen Cleopatra • having some back-stabbing chums. But this book will also tell them the facts no other biography is likely to tell them - that Caesa • was once captured by pirates • had a month named after him • invaded his own home town?

***Wicked Read***5
I think that this book is great, I couldn't put it down! JC is very interesting, I've learned a lot about Roman politics and battlefield tactics, totally recommended!

A good 'follow-on' from the `Famous Lives/Famous People' series, for an older child 4
A NEW book in the HORRIBLY FAMOUS (DEAD FAMOUS series of books, for the most part, re-badged):-
`Julius Caesar and his Foul Friends'.

'If you've heard of the Romans then you'll have heard of the most famous of them all :Julius Caesar. But why was he the most famous Roman of all? He was a great warrior. He was stabbed in the back by his mates. William Shakespeare wrote a play about him. All of these things are true, but that's not the whole story..........'

190 pages, split into chapters:-
