This is one of my favourite books I've read!
I Can't wait to read the next book. The only girl to train to become a knight without being under false pretences is Kel. She has been training as a page for a year, some of the other pages still despise her mainly for being a girl.
Something happens on the day of the great examination that prevents Kel from getting to the test. Will she get to the exams in time? Read the book to find out.

MUST READ THIS!
This book is better than the first! It's all about what happens to Kel in the rest of her years as being a page and how she meeting the king. She also has to stop Joren bullying again and saves the lives of her friends when out on survival trip. There is a couple of love triangle forming which I won't spoil and the ending is sooo good that you'll just have to read it! This book is brilliant and exciting so I hope that Mrs T Pierce is at her desk right now writng the follow up to this wonderful book.

This is a exelent sequll to the protector of the smalls First test. You've gut to love this book . People who think it's rubish ,I have one thing to say. " You are stupid .This si brill. If you fond it boring read it again, you may enjoy iy more". Ive read this book about 100000000000000 times.About 4/5 to be presise. All the great new charecters.Lasa, Owin,jump but still no Alanna.Thres still all your fimilar charecters; Daine,If youve read the daine books, it's not over.neal, Cleon,The wild cat. Kel is starting to become a women and she doesn't like it.Kel getsm better at controlling her fear of heights. As well as the great plot. It has funny and sad parts in to. kel first kills her first man. gets her first pet and her first maid. It also leaves some, Open pages for the next book to finsh of. Who is the mysterious benifactor?
