A Christmas season story with a twist
This book, set at Christmas time, makes ideal seasonal reading for children 5-8/9 years who want to read a 'book with chapters'. It is just the right length also to read to smaller children in large chunks - it won't take too many bed-times to finish.
The lion of course, comes out the winner (after stealing sausages to eat; staying in Ghost cottage, and finally, drinking milk in the police station) having been saved from a bullet by Tom and Clare - our hero & heroine.
